Beating East Godavari district, Chittoor logged the highest number of infections at 784 cases, increasing the district's tally to exactly 60,000.

Out of the total cases, there are 50,776 active cases in the state, while in the last 24 hours, 6,046 patients have recovered from the infection

The overall positive cases registered in the state so far increased to 7,13,014 after 6,224 were added in the 24 hours ending 9 am on Saturday.
