Criminal cases were registered against 11 persons including some millers during the last four days in the State. Some of them were arrested for diversion of paddy stocks allotted to them for custom milling as part of the enforcement surveillance operations stepped up in certain districts

Civil Supplies Commissioner, D S Chouhan made it clear that there would not be any scope for waiver of the penalty on the CMR dues.

Allotment of paddy would be made only to those millers who have completed 100 per cent delivery of CMR dues on producing bank guarantee, he said.
