Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar participated in a clean-up drive at Mumbai’s Juhu beach on Sunday, a day after Ganpati Visarjan. Joined by Amruta Fadnavis and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, he urged public responsibility in maintaining cleanliness.
Peeran Cheruvu Lake, cherished for its scenic beauty, short hiking paths, and significance to local fishermen, has been increasingly affected by plastic pollution and environmental decline. In response, Akshayakalpa Organic engaged its team and partnered with the local community to clear around 3,200 kilograms of plastic waste, greatly enhancing the lake’s overall condition.
