During its 90-day sewerage special drive, the board identified insoluble waste from drainage pipelines as a key factor obstructing sewage flow. In a press release on Saturday, the water board explained that in multi-story building complexes, sewage first enters a silt chamber where solids are retained, allowing only wastewater to flow into the pipeline.
