The 79th Independence Day celebrations in Karimnagar witnessed district officials singing the national anthem in Indian Sign Language (ISL) alongside deaf students. The unique gesture, led by Collector Pamela Satpathy and other senior officials, was aimed at promoting inclusivity and understanding the experiences of the hearing-impaired community.
The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as the teachers, parents and students of the school enthusiastically witnessed the event online.
