The teaser of Shaneil Deo’s much-anticipated pan-Indian action drama Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, has been released to enthusiastic response. The teaser showcases the duo as dacoits embarking on a mission filled with chase sequences, confrontations and romance.
Adivi Sesh says he chose not to dub Dacoit in Hindi because translating dialogues weakens emotional authenticity. The actor says the film was instead shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, the film is set for a pan-India release.
Adivi Sesh, known for intense action roles, says he never imagined performing a full-fledged dance number until Dacoit pushed him creatively. Featuring Mrunal Thakur, the song marks a major first for the actor in a film that blends action, drama and romance.
The story and screenplay of Dacoit have been jointly written by Sesh and Shanil Deo. Sources claim that the movie, which is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, will provide a great cinematic experience to the audience.
Mrunal took to Instagram, where she dropped a string of pictures of herself dressed in a lavender hued chikankari lehenga, which she paired with cut diamonds. For her look, she chose to go simple with minimal make-up.
