Two daily-wage workers, Kailash (32) and Koteshwar (48), drowned in an irrigation tank at Mahalaxmi Double-bed Room Colony in Nirmal while reportedly intoxicated. Police recovered both bodies, registered a case, and have launched an investigation into the incident

The arrested persons are Chandan Majhi and Bijay Takri, both daily wage workers from Malkangiri in Odisha
