BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar accused Forest officials of trying to seize 50 acres of land cultivated by Dalit farmers in Dimda village, forcing them to sleep in their fields out of fear. He demanded government intervention and criticised the local MLA for inaction.
Mesram Jangu, a tribal farmer from Narnoor mandal maintained that the scheme should be confined to tribal and dalit farmers, while exempting landlords.
