BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday alleged that the Congress government was deliberately delaying the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project to prevent BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao from gaining credit.
The BRS government prioritised poor families by ensuring that no one was displaced during the river clean-up and development, said BRS working president KT Rama Rao
He said his party, in association with environmentalists, would continue to fight against the project, which threatens the environment and endangers the Musi River, a vital water source in the region
