BRS leader KT Rama Rao accused CM Revanth Reddy of evading an open debate on farmers’ welfare and failing on electoral promises. He challenged the Chief Minister to a public or Assembly debate and demanded accountability on key guarantees.
The confrontation began during Question Hour when Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy blamed the previous BRS regime for delays in key highway projects, including the Hyderabad-Karimnagar and Hyderabad-Bijapur roads
Reacting sharply to Revanth Reddy’s comments that the people of the State had lost nothing, Harish Rao threw a challenge at CM for a debate on any sector, right from farmers’ problems, debts, hospitals, drinking water, water for irrigation, power supply and education to health among others.
Hyderabad’s Bhagath Varma, who plays for R Dayanand XI, and Jammu-born Yudhvir Singh Charak, who plays for Budding Stars, in the local leagues have been signed by CSK and MI respectively
