The shooter, known as Vishal a.k.a Rahul, hails from Gurugram and faces over six criminal cases, including murder charges, filed against him in Haryana and Delhi.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as a Soni (35).

Delhi Police received a complaint on November 27 at Cyber PS Dwarka. The complainant was Sunil Manjhi, who was contacted by the accused.

"Commuters are requested to cooperate by avoiding/bypassing these roads, if possible, and make maximum use of public transport," said the official.

The accused, whose real name is Faruk Mulla, had travelled under the name Faruk Khan, an official said.
