Several poster against Prime Minister Narendra Modi were found in parts of Delhi. The posters read "Modi hatao, desh bachao" (remove Modi, save nation).
In the video two persons could be seen dragging a girl and pushing her into their car. The car had a Haryana number plate and was a private cab, said the police.
The woman made the claim in a complaint she lodged with the Delhi Police Commissioner's office, alleging that Kuashik was demanding the money back which her husband didn't want to repay
Sahil further claimed that he had decided to push Nikki out of the car. However the plan could not be executed and he killed Nikki at Nigambodh Ghat, the police sources added.
"Apart from the main accused Sahil Gehlot, Delhi Police have arrested 5 people. His father has also been arrested on the charges of helping him in the conspiracy," Special CP Ravinder Yadav confirmed
On January 24, the police had filed the charge sheet in the case which contains over 6,000 pages and the court had extended Poonawala's custody for 14 days.
Delhi Police officials had to face the ire of a court here which noted that the investigation agency cannot "act as per their whims and fancies" and that the courts have ample power to check the misuse or abuse of powers by the probe agencies.
