PM Modi is set to unveil and initiate a total of 44 projects aimed at transforming both urban and rural infrastructure in the region. These projects are expected to significantly enhance public amenities, improve connectivity, and modernise essential services for the people of Varanasi.
The closure of USAID could deal a body blow to planned projects, especially those which are fully dependent on the US agency, given the weak financial position of Congress-led Telangana government
The Prime Minister is slated to launch these projects at around 5:30 p.m. Thereafter, at around 6 p.m., he will address the Officer Trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course in Aarambh 6.0
The legislator opined that people living in Rangapet would be easily able to reach the town in monsoon with the advent of a bridge to be constructed across Rallavagu stream spending Rs 13.5 crore.
Modi, who will reach here on Sunday afternoon, will be welcomed by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after which he will spend about 25 hours in Varanasi, an official statement said here.
As part of his visit, the Minister also inaugurated two integrated markets constructed at a cost of Rs. 5 crore. One market is dedicated to vegetables and meat, while the other caters to fruits and flowers.
