The incident occurred when two motorbikes moving in opposite directions collided with each other at Yellamma temple in the outskirts of Vellulla

The man, identified as Mohd. Mustafa, was on his way home on his bike in the rain when the incident occurred.

The deceased were identified as V Babu Rao (31) and his wife Rangamma (26).

Dindi police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies of the victims to area hospital at Devarakonda for autopsy.

Earlier in January this year, the hospital had made it national headlines after more than 100 infants died in one month. 

The mishap occurred when one of the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into another at a high speed.
