Pune activist Vidyanand Bapat, who has opposed high-decibel DJ systems and loudspeakers during festivals, was assaulted while speaking to media on Thursday. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the attack and said police had arrested the alleged attacker, Santosh Chavan.
