Police arrest container truck driver for transporting ganja in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A driver was arrested by the Rachakonda police for allegedly transporting ganja a container truck at Abdullapurmet. The police seized 300 kilograms of the ganja from him.
The arrested Ahmed Gulab Shaik (56), a resident of Pune in Maharashtra at the instance of Vaibhav and Deva, who are natives of Pune went to Vizag in Andhra Pradesh and purchased the weed from Bujji Babu.
The consignment was neatly packed into small packets and was being transported in the container vehicle when on information the Special Operations Team of Rachakonda police stopped and on checking the vehicle found the ganja, said Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, G Sudheer Babu.
A case is registered against Ahmed, Bujji Babu and others. Special teams were formed to nab Vaibhav, Deva and Bujji Babu, who are absconding.
