The Secunderabad Task Force and Malakpet police arrested two interstate drug peddlers and seized 20 kg of marijuana worth about Rs 10 lakh in Dilsukhnagar. The accused allegedly transported the contraband from Odisha, while two other suspects remain absconding.
Ambaria, Maruthi Nayak, and Madhu were stationed at Manoor police station when the incidents occurred, while Vinay Kumar served as the Sangareddy rural SI. The accused officers allegedly had colluded with Mallugonda, a seasoned ganja peddler from Karnataka, who was arrested by Sangareddy police on September 10. Notably, Mallugonda had managed to evade capture several times over the past couple of years.
