A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Hingoli–Nanded region of Maharashtra early Thursday, triggering aftershocks felt across several districts in Telangana, including Nirmal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kamareddy, and Jagtial.
Residents of several villages in Kathalapur mandal of Jagtial district experienced brief tremors lasting about two seconds on Sunday afternoon. The sudden ground movement caused panic, though authorities said there was no official confirmation from the National Centre for Seismology.
