Hyderabad Police’s H-FAST unit seized 36 tonnes of adulterated ghee and raw materials in a citywide enforcement drive. Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar is expected to brief the media on the findings and legal action.
Hyderabad Traffic Police have launched a citywide crackdown on vehicles with fake or tampered registration plates, booking six criminal cases and seizing several vehicles in areas including Jubilee Hills, Malakpet, Begum Bazaar, Abids Road and Kacheguda.
The Ranga Reddy District Transport Department launched a special enforcement drive as private schools reopened, inspecting school buses for compliance with transport and safety norms. Six buses were seized for violations, while officials checked documents, driver eligibility and student safety equipment
Santosh Nagar Traffic Police conducted a special drive at DMRL Junction against mobile phone use while driving. Eight motorists were booked and 12 others penalised. Police also counselled violators and warned about the dangers of distracted driving.
