Paladugu Gnaneshwar launched an indefinite hunger strike at the Sangareddy Collectorate, demanding action against industrial effluents flowing into Domadugu farmers’ fields. He called on officials and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to address the ongoing pollution issue.

The protesters also voiced their concern over the different industrial projects that threaten their environment and livelihood.
