Congress MLC Balmoor Venkat has filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cybercrime Police against Telugu actor Srikanth Iyengar for allegedly disrespecting Mahatma Gandhi and praising Nathuram Godse. He also called for the actor’s suspension from film associations
"He reached out to people through the simplicity of his life, without any propaganda material or technology," said Siddaramaiah after inaugurating the Gandhi Jayanti programme held at Gandhi Bhavan.
"'Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained'- Mahatma Gandhi. A humble tribute to Bapu on his death anniversary," the Wayanad MP tweeted.
