A major fire broke out late Saturday night at Rohith Automobiles and Spare Parts warehouse in Shankarpally, Hyderabad. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to bring the blaze under control.
Fifty people who were trapped in a building that caught fire at Mailardevpally were rescued by the fire personnel on Sunday morning. Among those rescued are 16 children aged below 15 years
Reports indicate that the fire erupted at a warehouse owned by the Cotton Corporation of India, located in Pudur village, Medchal. Upon noticing the fire, the workers on the premises quickly evacuated the area.
The fire tenders were rushed to the spot from different places in the district. The firefighters are on the job to prevent it from spreading to other industries.
