Due to the severity of the violations, the license of Sri Sai Ganesh Enterprises, Boligudem, Boduppal, which packages drinking water (Kenbey brand) and also manufactures milk products including Khoa, will be suspended as per the provisions of the FSS Act, 2006, authorities said.
The food safety teams found several violations of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA) 2006 at these establishments. Notably, three juice centres—A1 Fruit and Juice Shop, KGN Juice Centre, and Natural Flavours—were operating without a valid license.
At the Central Production Unit of Sodexo India Services Pvt Ltd, the food safety teams reported house fly infestation of raw material in the reception area, food articles were left uncovered in the kitchen
The petitioner claimed to be the owner of the seized property i.e., 99,629 bags of red chilli seeds (as per the seizure report, 78,857 bags are available physically, each bag containing 40 kgs)
