In honor of Children’s Day, students presented the project as a gift to the community, marking a milestone in their commitment to environmental stewardship. The project was funded by a successful Independence Day fundraiser held on August 15, 2024, showcasing the collective efforts of the students and the NGO, Save Water and Nature.
Meghana’s NGO called ‘Save Water and Nature’ mostly seeks to involve students of neighbouring colonies to solve environmental issues as she believes ‘solve locally to see globally’, her mantra for the past 15 years since she been working in the field.
Themed 'Beat Plastic Pollution,' students, led by Head of Institution Sudha Rani Koyya, participated in a silent awareness rally around the local area, holding placards to promote environmental conservation.
