The 17th G20 Summit kicked off on Tuesday in the Indonesian resort island of Bali, with issues pertaining to world economic recovery, world health systems and climate change taking the centre stage.

Ahead of his official visit, PM Modi said, "On the sidelines of the G20 Summit, I will meet with leaders of several other participating countries, and review the progress in India's bilateral relations with them."

I will be visiting Bali, Indonesia on 14-16 November 2022, to participate in the 17th G20 Leaders' Summit, to be chaired by Indonesia.

The Ministry of external Affairs (MEA) said in a statement that Prime Minister Modi arrived here for his visit to attend the 16th G-20 Summit.

The Covid-19 pandemic has infected more than 55 million people and caused more than 1.3 million deaths worldwide.
