BRS leader Balagoni Sai Charan Goud bagged the Ganesh laddu at Rudraram’s historic Ganesh Gadda temple for the third consecutive year, winning the auction for Rs. 7 lakh. Proceeds from the auction will go towards the temple’s development.

This bid was the highest in the last 28 years after it was first auctioned in 1994. The Balapur Utsav Samithi anticipated Rs.20 lakh for the laddu in the auction.
