One of two men swept away in Medak’s Gangamma vagu during heavy rains was found dead near Rajpet village on Thursday. The deceased, Bestha Satyam, was identified as a local resident, while search operations continue for the missing villager, Yada Goud.
Incessant rains caused the Gangamma Vagu to overflow, cutting off Doop Singh Thanda in Medak district. With the stream flowing over a culvert, villagers remain stranded. Despite repeated pleas, no high-level bridge has been constructed by the authorities.
