Anushka Shetty calls Ghaati a raw, intense yet timely film that reflects today’s realities. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the action drama set on the Andhra–Odisha border hits screens September 5.

Actor Vikram Prabhu, grandson of Sivaji Ganesan, makes his Telugu debut with Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati. He says his role ‘Desiraju’, written for him by Krish, will give the audience a fresh experience.

Director Krish’s action thriller Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate and will release worldwide on September 5, 2025.

Taking to its social media pages, UV Creations, one of the production houses producing the film, posted a statement that was titled, "A Note from the Heart of Ghaati."

Fans are excited to see Anushka back in action, and this time, in a completely new and powerful avatar.

The makers announced that the film will be released on April 18, just in time for summer. The news was shared through a playful video featuring Krish, Anushka, and the producers. The release date poster highlights Anushka in a powerful look, dressed in a black saree, holding a gun in one hand. Her intense gaze and the bloodstains across her body add to the fierce and striking image.
