Emergency repairs at the Bommakal Pumping Station will disrupt drinking water supply in several parts of Hyderabad from Friday afternoon to early Saturday. HMWSSB said the 19-hour disruption is due to a leak in the Godavari water supply pumping main.
The Telangana government has approved a Rs 7,360 crore project to supply an additional 20 TMC of Godavari water to Hyderabad and its surrounding municipalities. The project includes new treatment plants and pipelines under Phases II and III of the Godavari scheme
