Following the Chevella bus accident, residents of Medak have raised concerns over overloaded gravel trucks operating without regulation. With over 2,000 trucks on the move daily, authorities are being urged to enforce safety and curb road damage.
Following the tragic collision near Chevella that claimed 19 lives, the Regional Transport Authority launched inspections in Patancheru, uncovering 14 overloaded gravel trucks. Led by RTO Vijaya Rao, the checks revealed vehicles carrying up to 10 tonnes beyond permissible limits.
