Hyderabad: Brahmotsavams 2024 at Hare Krishna Golden Temple from Nov 24

Hyderabad: The annual Brahmotsavams celebrating the consecration of Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills and the presiding dieties Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Utsava Murthis of Radha Govinda will be held between November 24 and 29, 2024.

“We have planned the Brahmotsavams celebrations for six days between November 24 and November 29. Grand arrangements are currently underway, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president, Hare Krishna Movement,” on Friday said.


The important festivities of Brahmotsavam are Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Mulavar and Utsavar Abhishekam, Vishwaksena Puja and Ankurarpana on the first day, Dwaja Arohana and Unjala Seva on the second day, Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Pallaki Utsavam and Hanumad Vahanam on the third day, Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyanotsavam on the fourth day i.e. November 27. Garuda Vahanam will be on Nov 28 and on Nov 29 Maha Purnahuti, Utsavar Abhishekam and Chakra Snanam, Grand 108 Kalasa Maha Churnabhishekam and Maha Samprokshana will be held.

This year marks the auspicious installation of Radha Govinda Mula vigraha in the temple. As a part of Prathishta there would be elaborate Vedic and Agama rituals like Ankurarpana, Vastu Homa on Nov 24 and other rituals till November 28.

The festivities on all the days would start with Brahmotsava Homa, Nitya Aradhana and darshan of all oresiding deities of the Lordships in various alankaras, followed by Utsava Homa and Visesha Naivedyams, a press release said.
