Officials said tight security arrangements have been made at the venue as around 500 VVIPs from across the country, including 14 chief ministers, Union Ministers and BJP central leadership, expected to attend the event
After sidelining the implementation of six guarantees, the State government is embroiled in controversies over HYDRAA demolitions and eviction of residents from River Musi bed, marking houses for demolitions.
"We have received complaints about EVM malfunctions in Hisar, Mahendragarh, and Panipat, with issues regarding machine batteries and inconsistent results," said senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said, "Our high command has announced Nayab Singh Saini as the Chief Minister, though the final decision will be taken by the parliamentary board."
BJP national spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam stated that those who lose often make such allegations, accusing Congress of consistently doing so after defeats.
