Hyderabad Police and the Task Force seized nearly 25 litres of hash oil worth Rs 3.12 crore in two operations at Erragadda and Jubilee Hills. Five alleged drug peddlers were arrested and two consumers detained as officials investigated an Odisha-linked supply network.
A suspect identified who was caught with 900 grams of hash oil by the EAGLE team in Manikonda and handed over to Narsingi police, escaped from custody on Wednesday night, prompting a search operation.
