Hyderabad was chosen as the host for HCL Cyclothon due to its thriving cycling culture and its commitment to fostering cycling-friendly infrastructure, including extensive dedicated cycling tracks.
The event is being planned in association with the Government of Telangana and the Cycling Federation of India, featuring a prize purse of Rs 33.6 lakhs—the highest in India.
