The Cyberabad Traffic Police closed the Manchirevula Village Road after heavy rains caused severe waterlogging. Traffic diversions were put in place as authorities urged motorists to avoid the stretch and drive cautiously amid continued rainfall across Hyderabad.
Cyberabad Police issued an advisory after heavy water flow from Himayathsagar Lake flooded the ORR service road at Exit 17. Traffic diversions have been arranged, and motorists are urged to avoid the stretch for safety.
Peddapalli ACP Krishna said the water flow at the spot was heavy due to the continuous rainfall during the last four days. There were incidents of youths dying at waterfalls. So, it was temporarily closed to avoid such incidents.
