An experienced pilot was killed after a tandem paraglider crashed shortly after take-off at Bir Billing in Kangra district. The tourist on board survived. Authorities suspended paragliding for a day and ordered an investigation into the cause.

A bus rolled down into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district on Thursday, leaving 40 passengers injured, police said.

Seven people were killed when a vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a rivulet in Mandi district in the early hours of Monday.
