Anti-Corruption Bureau officials allegedly caught a TGSPDCL assistant engineer in Hyderabad while accepting a Rs 1.2 lakh bribe for approving applications for six new electricity meters. The officer was remanded in judicial custody, according to ACB officials.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday caught a Deputy Executive Engineer of the Quality Control Cell, Musheerabad Division, while allegedly accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe. The officer, Sai Ram, allegedly sought the money for issuing and extending Quality Control Certificates
