Gachibowli Police and the Eagle Team arrested former University of Hyderabad student Biswajit Kalita alias Biswa in a drug supply case. Police seized 5 grams of marijuana from him and are probing the source of the ganja supply.
Three police personnel were injured after a suspected drug offender allegedly rammed his car into them while attempting to flee a narcotics operation in Hyderabad's Abids. The suspect was later apprehended in Afzalgunj, and attempt to murder cases were registered against him.
The Task Force and local police arrested two persons in Gudimalkapur for drug peddling and seized 5.1 kg of marijuana worth Rs 2.6 lakh. The accused allegedly sourced the drug from Maharashtra and sold it in Hyderabad
