Newly laid pedestrian pathways on Hyderabad’s Moosarambagh bridge have been dug up for cable work, leaving rubble and debris scattered across the walkway. Pedestrians have criticised the lack of coordination and demanded immediate clearance and restoration by the GHMC.
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) removed 313 encroachments across 15 stretches under its ‘Walk Free’ initiative, reclaiming nearly 18 km of roads and footpaths in Serilingampally, Kukatpally, and Qutubullapur zones.
