An Air India Express flight from Hyderabad made a hard landing at Phuket International Airport, causing the nose landing gear to collapse. All 131 passengers and crew were evacuated safely while the runway remained closed for hours.
Air India Express will operate three weekly flights initially, and from February 15 the frequency of the flights will be six days a week. The duration of the flight is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes
The airline will commence direct flights connecting Hyderabad and Phuket starting January 31, 2025, operating three times a week on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
