Congress workers were heard raising slogans in support of party leader Rahul Gandhi outside the residence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi.
"The INDIA Janbandhan leaders will be meeting today at 6 PM at 10, Rajaji Marg to discuss the election results and strategy thereafter," Kharge posted on X.
"Democracy is a reminder that it respects diversity and ensures equal justice for all, regardless of caste, creed, language, religion, or region," said George Abraham, the organisation's Vice Chairman, in a statement
In a post on his X handle, the DMK President stated that the goal of forming the Opposition bloc for the Lok Sabha elections was to end the BJP's ten-year 'fascist' rule.
