Tehran has come under intense US and Israeli airstrikes targeting military and security infrastructure, causing widespread destruction and civilian disruption. Intelligence assessments suggest the campaign may damage Iran’s military but is unlikely to quickly topple its leadership.
Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi described the reported killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as a turning point, thanked US President Donald Trump for ordering strikes, and outlined a transition roadmap aimed at establishing a democratic Iran.

In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, "We are seriously concerned at the escalation of hostilities between Isreal and Iran which threatens the peace and security in the region."
