He was declared the winner without a contest on Friday as the ruling NDA did not field their candidate. Though, an independent candidate, Sheik Shafiullah, had filed his nomination, he later withdrew his name from the contest, leading to Satyanarayana's unanimous victory

Nakka Anil from Balvanthapur, Mallial mandal of Jagtial district, wrote on the number plat of his vehicle stating that “Medipalli Satyam Choppadandi MLA Thaluku”.
“Let us continue the good relations between the two States and address the issues. Let us move ahead on the path of development,” Revanth Reddy posted on X.
