The Bar Council of India has rescinded its decision asking State Bar Councils not to enrol NALSAR’s 2026 graduates. The BCI said students should not suffer for alleged misconduct by others and sought a factual report from the university Vice-Chancellor.
While Modi described the youth as “misguided children” and stressed guiding them instead of punishing them, Congress leader Pawan Khera remarked that the country was asking the PM to apologise but he had instead “forgiven the country.”
