Protests continued at Osmania University as the Unemployed JAC demanded release of notifications for 20,000 SI and constable posts. The group also sought changes to recruitment rules, including age limits, fitness norms and withdrawal of GO No 46.
The government has decided to raise the maximum age limit from 44 years to 46 years to other than uniform services for a period of two years, the order read.
