Kacheguda Railway Station is set for a proposed Rs 474.29-crore redevelopment, with a new terminal on the eastern side and a 72-metre-wide air concourse. The plan also proposes improved passenger circulation, a skywalk, parking facilities and modern amenities.
A major mishap was averted at Kacheguda Railway Station when an RPF constable rescued a passenger who slipped while getting off a moving train. The constable’s quick action prevented the man from being dragged under the train. The passenger sustained minor injuries.
