Local contractors have opposed TGGENCO’s unified tender for ash lifting from four thermal power plants in Telangana, alleging that eligibility conditions favour large corporations. They demanded separate tenders or lots to enable local contractors to participate and protect livelihoods.
The KTPP Plant, which is a 1,100 MW coal fired power project, has two units, the first unit has a capacity of 500 MW and the second unit has a capacity of 600 MW.
