A man was killed and his wife seriously injured in a road accident on NH 161 at Bachepally in Kalher mandal, Sangareddy district, on Saturday night. The couple were travelling from Hyderabad to cast their votes in the gram panchayat elections.

The couple were Sangya Nayak (50) and his wife Sanghi Bhai (45), residents of Malluru Thanda in Kamreddy district.
