The BRS working president KT Rama Rao hailed the party’s victories in municipal chairperson elections in Kyathanpalli and Ibrahimpatnam as a “resounding victory for democracy.” He accused the ruling Congress of attempting to influence the outcome through unethical means but praised councillors and CPI allies for their unity and resilience.
