RIMS-Adilabad director Dr Jaisingh Rathod said doctors led by Dr Karthik of the Urology department carried out the surgery on the toddler and removed kidney stones from her body using laser technology.

Adding that the products based on these DRDO technologies will further boost the defence manufacturing sector and self-reliance in defence, it said.
